If you're coming from the port or a cruise, Spanish authorities may not allow you to leave Gibraltar except if you have an entry stamp from the disembarkation port, in this case, Malaga. Please inquire if you can get an entry stamp from the port of Malaga so you can exit to enter Gibraltar and then re-enter Spain. It will also depend on your nationality. Visas, immigration procedures will always be the traveler's responsibility; there are many rules, but at least we want to inform you of what might happen and what we know.

Beyond Expectations

Eduardo met us at the port at the appointed time and we spent a pleasant two hour drive with him to Gibraltar from Malaga. He pointed out several interesting things along the way. He guided us through immigration to enter Gibraltar and met us on the other side to lead us to Tarek who was an absolutely delightful guide. From the Pillars of Hercules to St. Michael's Cave to the top of the Rock and the Siege Tunnels inside, he provided entertaining stories and facts of what we were seeing. And all along we were accompanied by the Barbary Macaques, the monkeys. We had lunch and then returned with Eduardo to our ship with time to spare. Wonderful day!

Gibraltar in a day...stress free!

The light show in St Michael's Cave exceeded our expectation and we could easily have lingered longer. This was followed by the Siege Tunnels...the historical documentation within the tunnels added great value to this visit. We'd highly recommend this highly organised, informative tour.

This was the most amazing tour! Pepe picked up our group of 8 at our lodging in Fuengirola and drove us the Gibraltar. Along the way he told us all kind of things about the area and how the day would work. He helped us get through passport control and turned us over to Yusef who took us to the sites in Gibraltar. He also told us great things about the area and gave us a great recommendation for lunch during our free time in Gibraltar. The whole experience greatly exceeded our expectations!

Best tour to Gibraltar

This is the best day trip we have done from Malaga, and it was well worth the money! Right from the start, our expectations were exceeded. Pepe contacted us the day before and let us know he was moving the pick up time up by an hour so that we could avoid the crowds. During the drive, Pepe pointed out so many interesting sights and explained so much to us about the areas we were driving through and the culture there! He stopped for photo ops before we got to customs and walked us through the process of customs clearance. Our guide Tarik was excellent! He took us to so many interesting sites and gave us ample time to see the sites and take lots of pictures. He explained alot of the history to us and he was polite, entertaining, and courteous. We were so happy that the tour start time was moved up because we were able to see everything without alot of people around and take pictures everywhere we wanted without having to wait for people to move out of the way. It was such a relaxing, fun tour! This tour included everything we wanted to see and we were very happy that we booked it. Sunday is the best day to do this tour because there aren't long lines to cross the border and most of the shops in town are closed so you can walk around without crowds. We had such an awesome time and Pepe and Tarik were friendly and professional - the best guides. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our driver, Eduardo, was very friendly and professional and Tarik, our tour guide did an amazing job. He was so knowledgeable of Gibraltar, took so many pictures for us, and gave us an experience with the monkeys we will never forget. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

This was probably one of our favorite tours on our trip. Don't miss it!

Every detail was handled professionally. Our guides were amazing. The transfers were seamless and easy. Do not listen to anyone who tells you that you can not get a passport stamp in Malaga. You just need to go to the police station in the main cruise terminal on the 2nd floor and they will stamp your passport. The cruise ship and the guards try to tell you you can not get it done but that's not true. It was very easy.

We had a wonderful visit. Our tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The highlight of our visit was playing with the barbary monkeys. The monkeys were very friendly and happy to pose for photos with us. We could have hung out with them all day!

This tour was wonderful! We didn’t know what to expect from Gibraltar but it was surprising, interesting, and unique. Our Malaga tour guide, Mohamed, was AMAZING!!!! This tour was the 3rd one with him as the guide and we couldn’t have been happier. He knew our needs and likes and communicated them to the guide in Gibraltar ahead of time. We travel frequently and only book private tours. Our experience with Mohamed and this tour company has been the best! They really want to make sure you are happy comfortable and you enjoy the tour. We will miss having them on our next vacations. The bests tours we have had!

This was our second tour with our transport guide, Mohammed, and we enjoyed our time together. He was punctual and got us to Gibraltar early enough to avoid some crowds. Our tour within Gibraltar was Yusef, who took us to sites all along the rock, and who knew all the tricks to get the baby monkeys to hang out with us! It was a fun excursion!

Our driver from Malaga (Bienvenido) was wonderful and on time for pick up. He navigated us through the border crossing. (don’t forget your passports), he shared some good stories about the region of Spain. We were staying in on the drive over. We met our Gibraltar tour guide Tariq immediately on the other side and jumped in his van. As a local, he knew his way around extremely well, was very entertaining and informative during the tour. And the monkeys were possibly the highlight of the tour. Tariq knew the monkeys got some peanuts out. I was able to get the monkeys on my shoulders in my husband shoulders for some great pictures. Everything was very smooth and enjoyable. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

This tour was a lot to cram into one day but thanks to Eduardo and Abdel we had a really great experience. The drive down to the border was smooth and Eduardo gave us lots of information along the way. He made the border experience uneventful. On the Gibraltar side Abdel proved a real professional. He soon recognized what was important for us to experience and made that happen. Overall, a great trip.

Would recommend going to Gibraltar.

Very expensive or I don’t understand

The car, it was a big van for three people. Unfortunately the guide was sick and coughing but she was good about history but we did not want to ask her too many history questions since she was coughing. We had to walk from city center in Gibraltar to the border on the way back. There were so much of local transport near the border. So I don’t understand why they did not drop us near the border. We paid 900 dollars 10 times more than regular tour. What is the difference. I would really like to get some refund. I changed from 90 dollar to 600 dollar to 900 dollar tour. I still don’t understand the difference.

If what you're looking for is to blackmail in order to get a refund, as is already known, you're not going to get it. . I wish we could comment on you too because we have many things to Say. Another thing, our driver was not coughing or unwell; You are also lying It's you we don't understand. It's a private tour. Ask how much a van for 7-8 hours from Malaga to Gibraltar round trip costs. Ask how much an 8-passenger van in Gibraltar (UK) with a private guide for 2 and a half hours, including entrance fees, costs. I'll give you a hint, now ask how much it costs, then ask how much the commission is for the Viator platform. You are the one who wanted to walk from the center to the borders, always after the free time we offer customers to either walk (15 min, with good places for pictures) or take a taxi, which we cover the cost for. Spanish transport cars are not allowed to enter UK Gibraltar by law. What you should do is take a shared group tour; it will be cheaper for you. I won't argue about the quality of our guides because we are confident that our customers are with the best, and our goal is to provide the best. Know that your comment will give us more energy to work, and you won't demoralize us. I wish we could comment on you too because we have many things to Say.

Gibraltar day trip

Gibraltar was a complete surprise and blew me away. Beautiful country! The trip was executed in an excellent way - driver was on time, van was comfortable and it took 90 mins to get to the border. Immigration was smooth (but ensure you have the right visa to enter and exit). Our local guide Tarik made our trip fun. He was friendly, engaging and shared a lot of fun facts about the area. We enjoyed our afternoon with him. At the end we had 90 mins to stroll on our own, get lunch, browse through the local shops etc. Overall, a fun day and great way to experience Gibraltar.
