Seattle’s landmark Space Needle, one of the most distinctive icons in the Pacific Northwest, rises 605 feet (184 meters) above the city. It was built for the 1962 World’s Fair and was the tallest structure in the Western United States at the time of its construction. Space needle with ❤️
Our guide William Forland was kind and knowledgeable exceeded our expectation in my opinion. My only comment was to change the meeting location to Mopop.

Thoughts
I thought we were to be ready at 8:30am in lobby & that Liam was to be our driver. There was confusion about arrival time & were not picked up until 9:15. The car was small, we were a party of 4 tall adults - the tour was to have up to 7 patrons & a driver. I want to make clear that Lilly, our driver was very nice. But she did not tell us much history of the city. She took us to a nice overview park on Queen Anne before seeing the space needle & suggested a pastry shop after. Next week went to boat tour because of problems with underground tour tickets. Boat tour very informative & enjoyable. Ended with underground tour which we all very much enjoyed. Note, as Lilly's shift was over, we walked back to our hotel. I thought we were to have had end to end service. I enjoyed our day because we were with our friends. We did get Seattle history from the tours we were taken to. However, one of our party has used Viator tours in other locations & stated they are normally informative in all aspects. That being said. This half day could have been arranged by us using Uber rides between tours.

Spectacular Space Needle!
We had a wonderful time on our walking tour with over an hour stop to explore the space needle. Our guide sam was amazing. It was just the three of us and we went all around the sights of the world's fair. What it was then and what unique gems they are now. It was fun and informative. We then got to go to the main attraction the space needle. It was amazing. We loved the glass windows and chairs to sit and take pics. What a view from any spot. We even got a drink and enjoyed the multiple views from every window. Sam was great and he took some great pictures of us that we will love to look back on and remember all the fun we had in Seattle.
